Hectic week(s) indeed

All work and no play makes life a dull affair. But sometimes call of the duty has to be answered. And this time, in the last one and a half year of joyous days at work, it was the time for some serious patching up that ate into couple of my weekends.

That was not all about it. Cherry on the cake is that I have some academia to attend to as well that has ironically coincided with some important dates at the office. Result? An almost 7x7 routine of technical thinking and concentrating that has been going for second week now.

It is good that I am not as much as a social worm as rest of the world wants me to be. So my expectations from the weekend evenings are modest. All I can see is that such expectations have left me bit more relaxed than my counterparts who are partners in my affairs these days. :-)

Corollary? Concluding nothing here. Just diary talk.

Take care
See ya round

Just testing the remote update feature that my rudimentary but recently bought cell phone provides.

Been down to earth today.

Actually pretty down, down enough to taste it. And along with me went the pillion rider!

They say there is a kid inside us that wants to explore, run around jump around and enjoy life and also that we should listen to this kid every once in a while. So today we agreed to listen to this kid and go on a small trip towards the nearest hills.

As the kid would, whether inside us or outside, run around and like any kid (or you during childhood) trip and fall and bruise herself once in a while, then get up and move on, I did to.

Tripped! Along with my ride and bruised a knee :-)

For the curious ones, the reply to the "Kaise hua?" question should go like, "While I was riding on the bike with a pillion rider to some nice place, in a construction zone next to a fly-over, the bike's suddenly became unstable and we went nearer to the road than anyone else there before we knew it. :-)
It turned out that the road we were on was being relayed and there was about 4-5 inch difference in the level of  road that we were riding and the part that was relaid that ran along us and I unknowingly swayed slightly over the part being relayed and bike got off balance."

Fact is that I am notoriously known for driving fast but at the moment we were at 43 (I remember that). Also was driving calmly because of a mileage-check regime going on. I would love to conclude that when you are going to fall, you are going to fall. So drive at whatever speed you feel safe as per given conditions (your's, traffic's, weather's, road's and ride's).

Well, I am now feeling like a bruised kid and taking the small reminder from my knee every time I flex it in my stride.

Yes it is also a first scratch on my 3M old bike, glad that it also took some beating on my behalf like a buddy. Also happy that pillion rider is fine :-)

Time out! Gotta use peroxide :-)

Take care.

PS: Going to continue the unfinished adventure real soon :-)

I'm done with 'em

Them be the pills!

My dentist says you get a 'C' from the dentist when you get an 'A' from rest of the world! Sounds to be true.

Not exactly A but quite busy managing random stuff.

We ignore minor things like health and general well being in favor of all the more important things in life like work goals and targets and don't indulge into unproductive things like recreation and fun. And then a worn out body demands attention by acting up and reminding you of its existence through some tell tale signs.

In last couple of weeks I have taken enough pills to kill almost every kind of pathogen known to mankind
and attended three different docs for the ammunition. :-)

So now my body is rewarding me for attention that it got by allowing me to workout after a whole ten days. Stretching those tendons after so many days was a great relief.

Hope to continue with the less important things in life while attending all the more important stuff :-)

-Take care.
